I actually prefer chalk to whiteboards, but that's a remnant of studying math in college rather than CS. (Which, BTW, is one reason I've heard for my resume getting screened out before. Not the chalk thing, but the math thing. :P)

Better for the environment, yes, but not for office equipment (or so I've heard). Also, they don't sell chalk at Office Depot, IIRC. :P

This is extremely dubious! I trust comparatively coarse rock dust much more than ultrafine marker dust with I'm-not-sure-what in it.
