GitHub responds to Dear GitHub letter
The problem isn't that you can't
add
more content to a release, it's that you can't
remove
the misleading zipball/tarball links which are labelled source code but break traditional tarball conventions (e.g. not running autotools first).
Consider applying for YC's Spring batch! Applications are open till Feb 11.
