It's too bad this isn't on github. I've always wanted to make something similar, but using computational art instead of paintings. My dream is to make a thing that slowly adapts to the room its in, but doesn't seem like a computer hanging on a wall.

Does anyone know where I can learn more about the lighting techniques described here?
