Are meat eaters the target audience here? I was always under the impression that the target audience was vegetarians that longed for a burger et al.

As a meat eater, I can't imagine myself ever even trying a plant-based "meat" product. If I want veggies, I eat veggies. If I want meat, I eat meat. I know, crazy.

Covid has exposed the powers that be to be about exactly that: power. In the US, gun and ammo sales are through the roof due to the overreach of government. Everyone in the west has been warned by seeing how our governments react to try and control us. Well, everyone except Sweden and South Korea.

The surprise to me is not that governments are doing this. The surprise to me is that so many people fall in line with it as if they are incapable of thinking for themselves. Maybe after so many millennia of being serfs, slaves, and other subjugations its just in our DNA.

If only there was a way to keep in touch with people if you didn't have a Facebook account. I wonder what people did before Facebook?

There's not a single Biden voter that cares that Biden is incompetent and creating messes for the US (border crises, inflation, gas shortages, etc). What they care about is no more Trump mean tweets.

Or possibly how bad Biden and Gen Milley are at planning and military strategy.

> If you want to make people stop using water bottles you have to improve the water going to their house.

Reverse osmosis and similar systems are affordable especially compared to the cost of bottled water.

Also an 100% known and predictable effect.

Another topic where people seem to ignore Thomas Sowell's research: https://www.creators.com/read/thomas-sowell/09/12/the-fallac...

"Only you can prevent forest fires" lays the wrong mindset that humans are the only causes of forest fires. I grew up with that mindset, took some education to realize that nature (lightning) creates fires as well, and that fires have occurred throughout history for the benefit of the ecosystem.

Should also be noted that much of the California natural landscape evolved for several centuries (if not millennia) under the influence of human-initiated burns by the native tribes.

Exactly. Said another way, since fire is inevitable the ecosystem adapted to it, and the species that survived are those that actually benefit from it.
