Stop eating meat, eggs, and dairy. No ocean cruises. Limit flying.

Look up "effective altruism" and find some recommended charities to donate to.

Eggs, really? How does a significant portion of my food coming from grazing backyard chickens, and not transported thousands of miles, contribute to greenhouse gas emissions?

Do you think that is the case with the overwhelming majority of people?

With the almost instant gratification of Amazon, I always have the gadgets or clothing I need or want, but donating to one of my favorite charities is always always appreciated.

I think what may be happening here is that at some point the Linux kernel's behavior has changed and things run more smoothly with swap than without, even if you aren't swapping appreciably. There might be some code path it hits when it needs to flush cache or something like that that causes issue.
