It's somewhat similar to people enjoying developing their game engine more than their game in my experience. Provably why in attracted to it despite having little musical talent :)

Is it possible to resolve the PoW "manually" (i.e. Without browser JS execution) for personal use?

Like picking up the problem from the http headers and returning it as an follow up query.

Or is running a browser part of the PoW essentially?

Yes, but I'm not going to implement that to avoid the implementation "leaking" and ossifying the current transitionary hack.

Cool, thanks. Will keep an eye on it.

I've not been able to read your blog with my personal news reader so I was hoping to implement that.

I also thought they had removed USB-A ports given how the camera is plugged in but there's still there at 4:39 in this video:

It "worked" for the UK, now the cost of water keeps raising and the level of service keeps going down.

Reminds me of Mirage OS for TI Calculators.

I watched the build video and I was completely sucked in, fun project and great presentation.

Hey, been meaning to try picoCAD for a while now this might push me over the edge :)

For my curiosity: How are you distributing this? Is it the Web version of the pico8 game or did you rewrite it in love or something? Or does pico8 allows to embed their VM when distributing on Steam?

pico8 has the ability to export anything you make into native binaries. Simple as that :)

Came here to post a link to Threes, it does make me a bit sad whenever people mention 2048 without Threes.

uhhhh. well if reading their personal attestation is insufficient...

I have and sadly the Affinity suite doesn't run (without crashes) in Proton.

The use of commas to separate key-value pairs here is perplexing to say the least, why have them at all? Does it means I now need to escape them if my value has a comma at the end?

From the docs:

  restish POST api.rest.sh \
    platform.name: HTTPie, \
platform.about.mission: Make APIs simple and intuitive, \
    platform.about.homepage: httpie.io, \
    platform.about.stars: 54000, \
    platform.apps: [Terminal, Desktop, Web, Mobile]

I really wish that someone took another crack at the Beepy form factor with a pi zero, all the new iterations seem to use an esp32.
