Yes. I think so. Or maybe some correlation plots. I doubt that a proper EDA was performed pre-modelling.

Google+ was not at all a bad product. It had some functionality that other networks didn't have at the time. I used to browse through Google+ because of Linus Torvalds and the Linux community. I think that if Google had decoupled it from the Google platform and developed G+ as an independent entity within the umbrella, things would have been different.

What is the name of the aforementioned acquired Startup?

It's a private deal and unfortunately I cannot reveal due to the non disclosure terms.

Why would you agree to those disclosure terms?

Would they have walked if you told them you wanted it taken out of the agreement?

Why I ask: curious why people agree to gag orders and similar for no justifiable reason.

I absolutely agree with this. I myself implemented the Facenet paper with minor modifications as an undergrad project which started the face recognition revolution. If one has proper data, a neat prototype can be developed even on a decent i5 system in under a couple of hours. You don't even need GPUs because of pertained model. The tech in this domain is really cheap and readily available out there.

What food products do FDA chemists consume from the market is a question that would give us a lot of insight.

How do you even define smart? Is it quantified by the IQ tests? Does smartness include the factor of social skills(EQ) and how someone may present himself or herself in a social situations. How do you decide what's smart and what's not smart?

Why do social skills have any preferred treatment over any other skills? I'd say smart is best measured by IQ.

What do you exactly measure by comparing IQs? A person who does not do well on math test can become much more "successful" than a person who does. How does IQ really correlate with success?

It correlates a lot, actually. It even may be one of the best predictors (if not the best, I dunno honestly).

They should both be important is his point. And measurements for IQ (and EQ frankly) aren't very reliable. His point seems to be that "smart" is not really measurable as we don't include EQ and our measurements of IQ are poor as well.

Any opportunities for summer internship?

You won't regret. One of the best explanation of backprop on the internet.

How do you even measure it. What's the metric. How do you classify it as good or bad. It was clearly short-sighted and the government even failed to account the size of the new currency notes and the inconvenience caused by it. All that was achieved was dip in the GDP and the loss of lives.

Contrary to the popular belief that BTC purports money laundering, it can actually mitigate the problem of black money and money laundering. The governments all around the world should try to keep up and they should themselves establish a separate think tank/research arm/department for blockchain and cryptocurrency space.

I have a similar setup but it also has an esp8266 hooked up that sends data to thingspeak. It then communicates with Pushbullet that notifies me to water the plants.

I had it hooked up to internet with an ethernet shield so that it tweeted when the water level was low. That proved to be not very practical, as network cables are pretty rigid and ugly, and the plant had to be in the vincinity of a network socket. At that time, I couldn't be bothered anymore and I made something else.
