Building our founding team | Mani AI Inc | REMOTE | https://www.mani.ai/

Hello,

My name is Naren Keshav & I have bootstrapped Mani AI Inc. mani is a consumer facing, augmented reality application currently available for iOS.

What is mani:

We see a lot when we move around our world. When you want to communicate about what you see within your reach, the communication channels have loads of gaps. When you see something that you want to communicate, you can place your message as sticky notes.

Progress so far:

So far, my focus had been to build a base for the company within my skillset. I am keen on building a team - with people, who would like take this journey.

For our future:

I believe a product like mani would take shape in our near future. The real question is whether mani resembles closely to that unknown shape/form. Here is how I see our future: https://narenkeshav.com/essays/mani-future

Great things are done by a team. If you find it interesting and looking to be part of the founding team - would love to chat with you. My email address is nkeshav at mani dot team

Thank you for your time, Naren

This is a fantastic product.

I would love to see a chrome extension of the same.

I always find Apple docs to be good and with right level of information. I do not agree with that article.

https://developer.apple.com/documentation/metal/mtldevice/14...

Here's Apple's documentation on creating a gpu command queue.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/api/d3d12/nf-...

Here's msft d3d12

https://www.khronos.org/registry/vulkan/specs/1.2-extensions...

Vulkan for good measure.

Apple is CONSISTENTLY underspecifying APIs. The docs never refer back to comprehensive guides. They don't tell me the API constraints. They don't tell me the performance implications.

You may "think" Apple documentation is good, but honestly, it's bad and anyone that also programs for other platforms would arrive at the same conclusion.

So did I.

I've been seeing this trend quite often these days.

Sent you an email.

I am exactly in your shoes. Doing marketing as I write this.
