Hong Kong is a completely separate market to mainland China, the latter is further segmented by region/city. Li more or less withdrew from mainland China in the past decade or so.

> Unfortunately for the believers, new research mostly runs counter to this, showing that offices, for all their flaws, remain essential. A good starting point is a working paper that received much attention when it was published in 2020 by Natalia Emanuel and Emma Harrington, then both doctoral students at Harvard University. They found an 8% increase in the number of calls handled per hour by employees of an online retailer that had shifted from offices to homes. Far less noticed was a revised version of their paper, published in May by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. The boost to efficiency had instead become a 4% decline.
The researchers had not made a mistake. Rather, they received more precise data, including detailed work schedules. Not only did employees answer fewer calls when remote, the quality of their interactions suffered. They put customers on hold for longer. More also phoned back, an indication of unresolved problems.
SWE for a top tier investment bank. Pays good. Attend meeting all days, no harsh deadline, work from home, boss doesn't do micro management, got plenty of free time so I end up running 10km everyday during lunch hour.
Wear shoes that fit and maintain a high enough cadence (steps / minute). If you watch your cadence, you automatically avoid taking long strides and thus landing heel first, which could damage your knees when running 10km / day.
I had brain fog since college and I am now 31, I started running 1 year ago, and I am now running 50+ km per week. Haven't had even one brain fog ever since, feel like iron man everyday.
article itself mentions issue of hoarding glucose instead of using it. elevated HR via exercise basically forces glucose to be used so. not surprising at all.
