Just stopping in & saying that I love this software. Thank you!

What was the strategy for moving things over? By age? Monitoring queries and determining what data isn’t being queried? Something else?

Statistics on the complexity of replies?

100%

- The stuff that you do is rad AF and I like working on technologies/problems that have the potential to challenge me.

- in my own time, I’ve been working on projects with a similar scope, yet much simpler. I find these sort of projects truly fascinating and would love to be able to help the company achieve their objectives.

You’ll search what you know instead of wandering, which can be done from a list.

What’s your thoughts on ever using color eInk for coding/development?

- easier on the eyes - hammock driven development

What do you think the refresh rates would need to be to do that?

Probably at least 1 Hz to even be slightly usable as a screen you are composing or editing on, but current refresh times are multiple seconds so there's still likely a long way to go...

Current refresh rates for sections of the screen are 20ms. Full-screen refresh is a full second, sure, but you don't need that if you're just typing.

Huh. I wasn't aware that they had such fast partial refresh for color ones - I thought that was only for the B&W kind. Things improve quickly I guess!

Comic books will start to make sense on eink

I have 3 side projects that I’m splitting my time between.

- a browser extension that will reverse engineer a site’s APIs by analyzing network traffic and then compiling them into standardized specifications.

- API based financial derivative calculations that will calculate more than just the BSM.

- Just another financial market / economic analytics platform.

That extension sounds really interesting. Is there any way to know when it’s released?

This interests me too. Looking forward for it to be available!

Why do people try to take a medium, one which ain’t made for long form, and try to cram long from into it?

Because they see other people on internet doing it
