I delete the name on purpose so I can utilize the horizontal space the bookmarks bar provides more effectively.
I name the bookmarks that are not directly on the bar but live in other folders. However I would still not want to lose that bit of metadata. Icons hint at what site the resource is from at a glance.
yeah, mozilla do need to do some work on the "narrow screen experience" on desktop. Too many builtin things that take up space around the url bar and can't be moved.
The fact this industry tricked us into spending 200% more just to have a combo meal delivered delivered is insane and people have caught on. I've only ever used the app when someone gave me a gift card. I like local places anyways.
I've never understood the value proposition here. Of course they have to charge 200% to deliver you a combo meal. Getting a taxi from the restaurant to your place would cost at least as much. Driver time, gas, insurance, vehicle depreciation, time spent getting to the restaurant... it's got to add up to several dollars at least even if they carried no food at all.
It should cost about the same to deliver $200 worth of filet mignon with truffles. Same amount, much smaller percentage. I'm surprised people ever order small amounts of food through those services.
That’s for the all access package with news, talk, and sports. If you just want music it’s $10 a month, which is much more reasonable. Plus, it’s been my experience that if you’re willing to call them and go through the charade of threatening to cancel they’ll give you a better deal.
Still, Spotify is $11 and you can take it places that aren't your car (plus listening to whatever you want, which for me is a big deal), or $12 to also get audiobooks too.
