Oh boy, this brought back memories. Turquoise Blue + Chelpark was nirvana level experience for me. Whoever (mostly teachers) noticed that shade of blue would get immediately confused. Is it blue? Is it Green? It would lead to a good discussion!
I have fond memories of using ink pens. When any kid in our broader family reached tenth grade, my grandfather would gift them a Parker ink pen. And the last day of exams was the customary throwing ink on each other.
We had an English teacher who used to chide us for writing with anything other than a pencil till the 5th standard, and after that, would insist that we write with ONLY fountain pens.
Chelpark Turquoise and Bril Royal blue were my favorites too. They both looked brilliant on paper!
This is exactly what we do :) check out our demo at https://cloudron.io. Another user commented there is no market for this, but this is not true since we exist and are doing well. Its a niche but this is expected since this is a developing market.
But it's not as simple as that though is it? Does this take into account things like HA? Or offsite backups? What about security? I guess this works for someone who sets this up on a single server, perhaps just for themselves. But running services is a lot more complex that just isn't possible as a 1 click install.
Cloudron can backup to a variety of destinations including S3/GCS/Backblaze (https://docs.cloudron.io/backups/#storage-providers). I guess it depends on what you mean by "service". If you mean running something for a million users, we are not the right product. Cloudron is meant to setup services for personal use and businesses. Our target audience has 10k users max.
Lionel Messi. He recently even surpassed most goals for a club. He was touted as maradona successor which is an impossible bar and he has lived up to it. In contrast, not a single "messi" successor is even remotely close to him.
Most importantly, if you ignore a couple of tax evasion issues he seems like an all-right guy.
Maradona was a drug addict and wife beater who fathered a dozen unrecognised children and was a horrible person overall. He became a national embarrassment for Argentina ever since he was kicked out of the world cup for doping.
In contrast, Messi's positive legacy will hopefully endure for longer.
Maradona was always see as the star of the teams where he played, even when he was young. Plus he came from a poblacion, those ghettos in Argentina where people live with next to nothing.
Messi on the other side came from a middle class family, and had his dream of being a professional player broke as a young kid by Newells due to his height problems.
The two has different histories, and should not be compared I think., except on the football side.
Great to see this article here :-) nextcloud is easily one of the most popular apps on our platform cloudron and it's for selfhosters what wordpress is for web hosters (meaning: a love/hate relationship). Happy to answer any questions on next cloud.
