If you dont find this interesting, pls explain why

Yes the girl at 3:08 wants to go first but he has to anyway.

What a sexist world. She should have just pushed him while laughing. It would have been better for everyone involved

That's a very weird interpretation of the video: - the first person to jump (and the youngest) is female - the oldest person to jump is female - the most skilled person to jump is female (backward summersault)

That's not very kind of you.

Never mind that you've misinterpreted the video, assuming the subtitles are correct. The girl asks if it would be better if she went first. The guy answered that he'd prefer to go first.

You do realize you didnt actually argue against it being apartheid? You repeated a victim narrative, a common method in fascist systems to normalize crimes against humanity.

Its really worth reading Einsteins notes on Israel.

"“When a real and final catastrophe should befall us in Palestine the first responsible for it would be the British and the second responsible for it the Terrorist organizations build [sic] up from our own ranks. I am not willing to see anybody associated with those misled and criminal people.”" https://www.currentaffairs.org/2021/07/albert-einstein-the-p...

Should echo in the ears of everyone that ignored Trudeau warning

Murderous totalitarian regimes do not work. They quickly turn into mafia states. At its not something you end up in accidentally, its very visible by people falling back onto tribalistic narratives they prefer over reality.

Looking back at Einsteins letter from 1948, its worth remembering, that Hannah Arendt co-wrote it while being a Zionist. Anyone actually interested in a future for Israel should think really hard if revisionist Zionism is a way to achieve that.

Certification is a major issue here.

The computer that connects to the train system needs certification for its OS? I can understand the onboard controller needing certification, but a remote machine just connecting to it for configuration?

We know WINE is janky enough to be unlikely, "certification" is hand-waving in the general direction of "thankfully, there's opportunities for people outside an impulsive individual contributor to step in front of that"

If you are going down a DRM search trip, both Widevine key dumping and DMCA compliant HDMI / HDCP downgrade hardware are quite interesting topics.

Explanation would be beneficial. Without you just make it more likely that someone does.

This isnt a one way argument. If this is stealing so is pollution reducing throughput sabotage. Prosecuting one but not the other is a value judgement which gets us to the nature of laws. They are not an end in itself and often times so stupid they get changed when unintended implications become clear.

edit: Someone posted https://skeptics.stackexchange.com/questions/23799/has-anyon... a bit down with the following comment that highlights this quite well.

>At least here in germany, it is unclear whether "stealing" via induction is really stealing, the corresponding law explicitly states that a conductor is necessary. There have been lots of urban myths about it being forbidden, but the fact is that near lots of high power mid wave radio stations you automatically "steal" lots of power, e.g. just by having a neon tube installed in the "correct" direction.

"Crack House USA" was quite the accomplishment in my opinion. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1991025/

Intimate view through surveillance cameras over 6 weeks about the inner working of a crack house. With interviews from law enforcement, families and later convicts. Unorganized crime being the key word here, including drive by shootings by barely adults whos perceived room for maneuvering narrows to the extreme.

On youtube as " Inside A Crack House: US Drug Gangs Exposed (True Crime Documentary) | Real Stories " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EGK4gGtz44

Also worth mentioning

The Dawn Wall (2017) Meru (2015) The Alpinist (2021)

The mindset of the people at these extremes is really interesting. Clash of cultures with Magnus Midtbø visiting Honnold was also an interesting watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cyya23MPoAI
