I thought Hacker News readers were educated and intelligent but there are so many iTards it's not funny anymore. The Apple Cult ... is depressing. You are little ants who forgot what freedom means. Conclusion: being a great CEO in a tech company requires to have a solid tech background. Eric Schmidt wrote flex (yacc friend), Adobe founders were kick ass phds, Bill Gates comes to mind too.

agreed, i totally hate going thru dependency hell, but on any OS X, if you install the developer tools from the installation DVD, that will give you gcc and the basic libs you need to compile git with no problems. ./configure; sudo make install
