How do the compilation times compare to targeting the JVM?

There is roughly 1-2s (after sbt warm-up) penalty to perform compilation to native on iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) with 4 GHz Intel Core i7. The linker is highly parallel so you can throw more hardware at it as your project grows bigger. Barebones project includes nearly 1000 classes and 2000 methods in transitive dependencies that are being compiled due to closed-world nature of the toolchain.

True dat. He could easily become toxic. Give him a chance, but if he's the type that rejects reason (they are around), just let him go for damage limitation.

Some people you just can't coach. Let them go if they aren't team players.

Your company would have left money on the table, but not you as an equity holder.

It's not uncommon to sell your personal shares in the IPO.

Even if you don't sell your own shares, selling 10% of the company at $5 billion (no pop) is strictly better than selling 10% of the company at $3 billion (assuming a 60% pop to $5 billion). The company has more money and you own the same portion of the company.

Looks like the 'remote' thing doesn't work properly. There are remote jobs that aren't displayed when the 'remote' toggle is checked.

That is not ok. Could you give me an example? I will try to fix it

The problem is that the filter still uses the map when REMOTE is checked. This forces us to scroll around the map to view remote jobs.

Best to disable the map when REMOTE is checked.

I would actually prefer for remote jobs to keep their location data, if provided; I want to be able to view remote jobs in my country, so I don't have to worry about eligibility.

Sure.

1. Check 'remote', and I get a single job (Automation dev, Dublin, Ireland)

2. Uncheck 'remote', zoom right out 75 jobs off the coasts of Ghana & Gabon, all listed as remote.

Ok I see

I've decided to leave them there. Since I can't figure where to put them on the map, the address in most of them is "remote".

It was more that they don't show up when toggling the 'remote' setting, but up to you.

Similar result for me if I put the term remote in the first input box. I get a job in London, England but nothing else. HTH
