It is a well compiled list. I think the OP titled it incorrectly, which has led to some sagely advice and even debate about productivity in the comments!

In fact these are the kinds of things I'd like to see more of on HN - A peek at personal notes, resources, links etc used by the HN crowd.

Thats not a crackdown, that's just tax collectors looking for easy money. They have plenty to gain from cryptocurrencies. It's like government banning cigarettes, not going to happen. They make too much money from it.

Given the business model followed by Udemy, most of the courses I've previewed are underwhelming.

But I'm sure there would some hidden gems in there, any suggestions from HN crowd?

Lets say I own a single stock of xyz co, stock is at $25 and I as an ambitious seller decide to sell it at $50 and by a stroke of luck someone makes a fat finger error enters a buy order at $50.

will the stock price tick to $50 for that one transaction ?

It’s a double sided auction so someone who have a sell order at $26 will have priority (Assuming his order has the lowest price), and the stock will tick to $26.

Idea was to post the entire playlist...

This is a fascinating topic, I'd love to know some of the Rules of Thumb HN crowd employs :)

NPR article does a good job of simplifying this, I hope it is technically correct!

How do you decide which one to listen to?

I'm posting this one in the hope of discovering few more of such free resources in comments!
