https://www.accessgrid.com/ - The best way to issue and manage secure NFC credentials for Apple and Google Wallet via API.

No app required!

We took all of the complexity of issuing MIFARE DESFire enabled NFC credentials and made it extremely developer friendly. SDKs in most major languages (python, ruby, csharp, js, etc), developer console with request logs, and more.

This is really cool!

Lets gooooooo!! Congrats man!

Your free BOI filing (even if you don't want to use Pilot) is why I use Pilot.

BOI filing isn’t that hard? Takes 5 minutes to DIY each entity on the FINCEN portal.

Honestly, love to hear this :)

Here you go: https://github.com/kormax/apple-vas

If you can send/receive APDUs you're good to go.

Wow, that's neat!

Do you know if Apple requires any special permissions/entitlements to create VAT passes, or does a normal pass certificate suffice?

I'd say that crypto is not exactly gray area. But I am biased.

Co-founder of QuickNode here. Happy to answer any questions!

congrats on the acquisition! what changes are you planning to make to icy?

I think he makes legit points:

1. NFT spec is flimsy at best

2. We trust output from ETH nodes inherently

3. Most of the user facing clients for Web3 are decentralized

4. Power is easily rolled up into convenience providers like QuickNode

but I think something that is (perhaps conveniently missed) is that there is A LOT of power in having decentralized / censorship-resistant state - this is the thing that makes DeFi a real threat to orgs like exchanges and banks. They can't force people to have a certain amount of capital to trade derivatives or have a certain credit profile to borrow, the system is permissionless and the API is open 24/7.

That's pretty remarkable IMO and I think that sort of permissionless is likely to be used for very compelling things in the future, NFTs aside.

Also one thing that he notes but doesn't quite provide a solution for but I'm betting will exist in the near future is a markup language to map UI components to smart contract functions/views.

QuickNode | Full Stack (1) or Go (3) Engineers | Full-time | US Remote or Miami, FL

Our mission is to help blockchain ecosystems scale, by providing accessible core infrastructure.

We make it simple to power your blockchain applications and scale up as you grow. From elastic APIs & dedicated nodes, to powerful tools & analytics, all at your command through a simple control panel.

We're hiring software engineers to work on our core network platform and web interface. In the network platform, we're largely Go. On the web interface side, you'd be working in Rails with some of the best tooling (Sorbet, StimulusReflex, etc). We've got decent tooling in place to make our code approachable - but we need more.

See open positions and specific descriptions here: https://hire.clarify.so/company/quiknode-inc

To be fair, I'm a 35 year Florida resident and this summer has been exceptionally nice. It is usually crazy hot and humid by this time.

Hey! Are you in Miami by chance!?
