No mention of TaxAct on this post; is their marketshare really that insignificant?

>What confuses the hell out of me is that i always saw from childhood US executives are held accountable for their company's action. Any scandal and i would see the CEO step down.

You are confusing regular random CEOs who get hired to run a company with someone like Zuck who founded a company and is still closely tied to its identity. Remember the mess after Steve Jobs was forced out of Apple?

That actually has little to do with why "Zuck" is still there, it's because he has special voting rights that make him immovable. Ditto for the Google founders.

Take that away and we'd see the actual truth of his utility to Facebook and its shareholders.

The Note9 added bluetooth to the S Pen (you can use it as a remote camera shutter now), and it charges inductively when it's inside the phone.

Often diplomats are spies that operate in a country under diplomatic cover; perhaps Cuba wanted to frustrate suspected spying?

I haven't heard of a 'do not port' instruction, but you can call T-Mobile and add an additional password that will be required before customer service will service your account.

Unfortunately numbers can usually be ported out with just name, account number and zip code. There is a lot of port fraud happening.

I ported my wife's number last week from Verizon to Sprint, a 4 digit PIN was required in addition to the account number and phone number.

> I guess the only hope is the supreme court?

It's already been litigated, and there are multiple Supreme Court holdings that say that the government does not need reasonable suspicion to search you at the border.

Legally there is no such thing as 'guaranteed entry' to the US except for citizens. Even possessing a visa doesn't guarantee entry.

The head of the now-defunct Cyanogen Inc famously said “we’re putting a bullet through Google’s head.”

Is that so incredibly stupid? Did Google really start aggressively competing with Cyanogen and that's why they went down?

Google created the technology they were making money of.

Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

>Google created the technology they were making money of.

yeah so? That may be called ungrateful, but it's not necessarily a stupid move.

Whatsapp does have the option to add a password to your account: http://www.androidpolice.com/2016/11/10/whatsapp-enables-two...

HERE is nice because you can download complete countries to work offline. Google Maps only lets you select a rectangular area and limits it size to a much smaller area.

OsmAnd allows you to do the same with the OpenStreetMaps.
