The Rocketeer is a great movie :)

Love this! My favorite is the Simple Timeline. Definitely a deadline helps me. Also keeping tasks simple and completing them step by step is better than taking on huge tasks all at once. If I feel overwhelmed my motivation declines.

Having a professional photo can make a big difference. I can see how phones and technology has made it so that anyone can take photos. The studio takes a hit because people don't need to go. Much like a music studio. People can record at home, but the professional makes a difference. The internet is a tool to share the photographer's work (if properly branded). The internet has also made a huge supply of photos, so the general demand for quality has declined. Music is much the same. I have a belief that the demand for high quality, professional photos and music will come back in style at some point. It will come back to people happily paying for music or photos as it once was. You can't expect things to be free and also expect quality

Awesome read!!

Love it!

Why does Chrome have to update so much?

Chrome's release strategy is actually quite interesting.

https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/master/docs...

They release often for the same reasons you would do continuous deployment. Release a little, but often. It helps them to better isolate regressions in the field and deliver non-critical security fixes quickly.

I know I say that it helps them prevent regressions and this post is talking about regressions, but it's also work keeping in mind that Chrome telemetry is insanely extensive. I'd wager that in the field, to the typical user, that Chrome 80 is actually faster than 75.

Awesome article!
